Shipping

Shipping is FREE on all orders to customers within the United States.

Freight to your curb is included in the price you see. Some sites need additional services to unload — see Delivery Options below — and where those apply we'll tell you the cost before you commit to anything.

Order Confirmation

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.

We then confirm the machine is available for shipment. If your item is on back-order or unavailable we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you by e-mail to see if alternate arrangements can be made.

Once availability is confirmed we process the charges and begin preparing your order for shipment.

Order Shipment

Machines typically ship within three to five business days of your order being confirmed. Larger machines requiring crating or rigging arrangements may take longer, and we will keep you informed if so.

We will send shipping confirmation within 24 hours of your machine leaving the manufacturer, to the e-mail address you provided at checkout.

If you have not received shipping confirmation within five business days, contact us at info@woodiemachinery.com.

Power Requirements

Machines are supplied to US power standards. Most machinery in this class requires 208–240V single- or three-phase service — every product page lists exact electrical requirements, and we confirm your shop's power before any order ships.

Our products are certified to United States standards and have generally not been certified for use with other countries' electrical safety standards.

Delivery Options

Every machine we sell ships by freight, and the right delivery method depends on the weight of your machine and what you have available at your site. Check the crated weight in the technical data on the product page, then find the matching bracket below.

Under 150 lb — light freight

Smaller items ship by standard freight or parcel carrier and arrive like any normal package. No appointment, no special equipment, no preparation needed.

150 lb to 2,500 lb — curbside delivery with liftgate

The carrier calls to schedule an appointment and delivers to your curb. A liftgate lowers the crate from the truck to ground level, so a loading dock isn't required.

What you need on site: a pallet jack, and a firm level surface to move the crate across. The liftgate puts the machine on the ground — moving it from there is your responsibility. A pallet jack won't travel over gravel, grass, or a steep driveway.

2,500 lb to 7,500 lb — dock or forklift required

Above roughly 2,500 lb a crate exceeds the safe working capacity of a standard liftgate. These machines need either a loading dock at truck height, or a forklift rated for the crated weight.

What you need on site: a dock, or a forklift with sufficient capacity and fork length. Please confirm this before ordering — if the truck arrives and the machine can't be unloaded, the carrier will return it and redelivery charges apply.

Over 7,500 lb — rigging required

Our largest machines need professional rigging to unload and position safely. These aren't machines that come off a truck on a forklift and get pushed into place. We'll contact you before shipping to plan the delivery and confirm arrangements are in place.

Rigging and installation coordination

If you don't have the equipment on site, or would rather not handle unloading yourself, we can help arrange a rigging company in your area to receive the machine, move it into your shop, and set it in position.

This is a coordination service — the rigging company invoices you directly and their charge is separate from your machine purchase. We'll obtain quotes and handle scheduling with the carrier so the two line up. Rigging costs vary considerably by region and by how far the machine travels inside your building, so contact us early and we'll get you a figure before you commit.

Freight Delivery & Inspection

Once you've worked out which delivery method applies to your machine, this section covers what happens on the day. The few minutes you spend inspecting the shipment protect you completely if anything has gone wrong in transit.

Before delivery

  • The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Please make sure the phone number on your order is one you'll answer, as carriers typically make two attempts before returning the shipment.
  • Have the unloading method for your weight bracket ready and available on the appointment date. If anything has changed since you ordered, call us before the delivery date rather than on it.
  • Check that your access, doorways, and floor can take the crated dimensions and weight. Measure the route from where the truck will park to where the machine will sit — doorway width and ceiling height catch people out more often than weight does.
  • Clear the path and the destination area in advance. Riggers and drivers charge for waiting time.

At delivery — please do this before you sign

Inspect the shipment before the driver leaves. Signing a clean delivery receipt is your confirmation that the machine arrived in good condition, and it makes a damage claim substantially harder to pursue afterwards.

  • Walk around the crate and check for punctures, crushed corners, torn shrink wrap, water staining, or a shifted or leaning load.
  • Check that the number of pieces delivered matches the number on the delivery receipt.
  • Take photos of the crate on the truck and again once it is on the ground, before any packaging is removed.
  • If you see any damage, write it on the delivery receipt before signing. Be specific — for example, "crate crushed on lower left corner" rather than "damaged". A note on the paperwork is what makes a claim straightforward.
  • If the damage looks severe, you may refuse the delivery outright. Call us before the driver leaves and we will arrange a replacement.

Concealed damage

Occasionally a machine is damaged inside a crate that looks fine from the outside. Please uncrate and inspect your machine within 5 business days of delivery, even if you are not ready to install it yet.

If you find concealed damage, email us at info@woodiemachinery.com within that window with your order number, photos of the damage, and photos of the packaging it arrived in. Keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved — carriers routinely require it for inspection.

How we handle claims

Freight damage is our problem to solve, not yours to chase. Once you have sent us the photos and paperwork, we file the claim with the carrier and manufacturer on your behalf and arrange repair, replacement parts, or a replacement machine depending on the extent of the damage. We will keep you updated at each stage.

The one thing we cannot do is file a claim for damage on a shipment that was signed for clean with no notation and reported after the concealed damage window. That is why the inspection step matters.

Not sure what you need?

Call us on (855) 939-0260 before you order. Tell us which machine you're looking at and what access you have, and we'll tell you exactly what happens on delivery day. We'd far rather work it out in advance than have a machine sitting on a truck you can't unload.
